The practice of medicine has changed in significant ways since last century. It was faith that pa-tients keep on the doctor that he will heal any illness. So as the responsibility of the doctor to diag-nose the illness and if possible treat it or referred to the center where it can be effectively managed or cured. Now in the era of evidence based medicine the relationship is loosing the element of faith and further advent of the internet has taken the information exchange to the next level where in people try to self diagnose and treat it. If continued can cause chaos. But the system of Ayurveda has not changed even after thousands of year. The methodology of diagnosis and treatment and understanding has remained serene and intact since ages. Only to add the evidence based medicine has been incorporated and made effective for the understanding and the acceptance of the society.
The understanding if this ancient science added with evidence based medicine with modernised touch is what we practice and preach in our campus. HKDET RRAMCH Ayurveda College, HUMNABAD is catering the health services with highest standards since last seven decades. B.A.M.S.; M.D.(Ayurveda) ADVISOR HKDET’S RRAMCH
Dr. N.V. Sreevaths is well known Ayurvedic Physician, Kerala. He has vast experience both as a practitioner and academician. He has served in several reputed institutions and Hospitals like Ayurveda College Hospital, Coimbatore, Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Clinic, Palakkad, Kairali Ayurvedic Health Resort, Palakkad, Marma Senior Specialist Medical Officer in the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine under Department of AYUSH & Health and Family Welfare, Government of Kerala, State Coordinator of the Sports Ayurveda Research Cell etc. He is very keen on the propagation of the Indian medical sciences and in identifying the common strands of thinking among the various systems. He works on the intelligent integration of the various medical systems for the welfare of the suffering ill.
In his Career, he worked as the Principal and Superintendent of the Ayurveda College and Hospital, Sulur, Coimbatore as well as at the Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College, Mahe under the Government of Puducherry between 2013 and 2016 and later as its Director. He was alsothe Professor and Head of Department of Salyatantra in the Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad afterwards and retired as the District Program Manager of National AYUSH Mission in charge of Thrissur and Ernakulam Districts.
Dr. N.V. Sreevaths is well known for his judicious use of treatment modalities. He has developed massage oil and other Traditional Kerala Ayurveda Panchakarma and Kalari massage Treatments. He has worked on a medicine called Rasagandhimezhugu in relieving pain in terminally ill cancer patients in the Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum during his post graduate course. He has formulated more than 20 new combinations for various disease conditions in his practice.
He has participated, presented and chaired in many seminars / conferences of state, national and international levels during his career. Also worked as a honorary director at Svaasthyakshetram Ayurvedic Health Care Centre, Nallepilly and a mentor in the ayurvedic finishing school – Ayurvedic Research and Training Institute, Nallepilly
The advisor assists the leader/organization in formulating long range goals and in planning and initiating short term projects. The advisor is resource person, and evaluates projects, performance and progress. The advisor offers guidance by reviewing goals, objectives, and the progress of the organization.
